About VHCA

Since opening its doors in 1982, VHCA has been committed to quality education based on biblical principles. For more than three decades VHCA has served Chenango County families, providing the finest Christian instruction in academics, athletics, and leadership.  Its curriculum is challenging and students regularly score higher than the national and state averages on the Stanford Achievement Tests.

VHCA is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools and the New York State Association of Christian Schools.

VHCA is in session for a minimum of 180 days per year with regular school hours from 8:10 a.m. through to 2:20 p.m. The regular school year calendar closely follows that of the nine local school districts from which students are drawn.

VHCA maintains a staff of teachers and administrators who are qualified, degreed and deeply committed to Christian education.

Purpose of VHCA: To assist parents in providing an education that encourages academic excellence and social responsibility taught in a biblically-based Christian context.
